The measures of the order of the Ministry of Health of February 22, 2022 come into force.
New rules for entry into Italy in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic come into force today, March 1, 2022. The provisions are contained in the order of the Ministry of Health of February 22, 2022.
Except for symptoms from Covid-19, entry to the national territory is allowed under the following conditions:
- presentation of the digital Passenger Locator Form by displaying it from mobile device or in paper copy;
- presentation of one of the COVID-19 green certifications or other certification recognized as equivalent according to measures adopted by the Ministry of Health and within the time limits established by the relevant European Regulations.
Only in case of failure to produce one of the necessary certifications (in digital or paper format) will the measure of quarantine be applied at the address indicated in the digital Passenger Locator Form, for a period of five days, with the obligation to undergo a molecular or antigenic test (by a swab). Children under six years of age are exempt from molecular or antigenic testing.
