Farnesina's Covid-19 focus, new update

Order of the Minister of Health dated April 28, 2022

Measures stipulated in the order  of the Minister of Health dated February 22, 2022 regarding travel to and from abroad have been extended until May 31, 2022, with the exemption of the requirement to present the passenger locator form upon arrival in Italy.
As of May 1, 2022 therefore, for entry into Italy it is sufficient to present the green Covid-19 certification (vaccination certificate, certificate of cure or negative molecular or antigenic test) or other vaccination certification recognized as equivalent.
Only in case of failure to submit one of the above certifications, the measure of quarantine for a period of 5 days is applied along with the obligation to undergo molecular or antigenic test at the end of the period.
Travel to/from the Republic of San Marino and the Vatican City State is not restricted.

As a reminder, the Farnesina focus provides information, regulations and measures in the country, among other things.
A survey to provide general information on current regulations in Italy regarding travel to/from abroad is also available. The questionnaire, which is completely anonymous, is also accessible from the homepage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
