Research and study activities
Monitoring the phenomenon of immigration in the province of Trento on a continuous basis helps to make integration policies between foreign and local citizens more effectively known and addressed.
Since 2002 Cinformi has been producing the Annual Report on Immigration in Trentino, which aims to be a compendium of all the quantitative and qualitative knowledge available at provincial level on the demographic, social and territorial composition of the foreign population.
Over the years, Cinformi has also carried out various researches focused on emerging themes of the migration phenomenon such as mixed couples, self-employment, management of a distance affection, from immigrants to neighbours, life stories and the repatriation of trafficked women.
