New rules for the application of a new passport in Trento, Riva del Garda and Rovereto Police counters

15/02/2019

From February 25, 2019 the access the counters to apply for an Italian passport will be without appointment

Residents of the Municipalities of Trento, Riva del Garda and Rovereto can apply for a passport from February 25, 2019 at the Police Headquarters and the Public Security Police stations, even without appointment, through the "online diary" service.
The service, activated on an experimental basis, allows access, without reservation, to the Police headquarters in the Viale Verona and the Police stations of Riva del Garda and Rovereto, from Monday to Friday, during public opening hours, for the delivery of the passport application form, accompanied by the required documentation. Public access to the counters is regulated according to the order of arrival of the people.
On the other hand, presentation by appointment is still mandatory for those who reside, stay or are permanently resident in the remaining municipalities of the province, who must book through the "online diary" service by choosing the date, time and place to apply from those available.
For those who reside in the municipalities furthest away from Trento, the "Sportello itinerante" initiative is active in Pinzolo, Moena, Tonadico and Malè.
There is also a "Passport to Home" service, which allows citizens to have, on request, the document delivered to their home at a cost of 8.20 euros (to be paid cash on delivery to the person in charge of the Poste italiane).
