Immigrazione, la fotografia dell’istat Ancora una volta gli immigrati sono determinanti per la crescita demografica in Italia. La popolazione nel Paese ha raggiunto all’inizio del 2010 la quota di 60milioni e 387mila residenti, con un tasso di incremento del 5,7 per mille. Il saldo migratorio con l’estero riguardante i soli cittadini stranieri ammonta a più 405mila unità. I dati emergono dalle stime anticipate dall'Istat dei principali indicatori demografici relativi al 2009. Anche l'anno scorso gli ingressi dall’estero da parte di cittadini stranieri si sono mantenuti elevati. Nel 2009 si è registrato invece un calo delle domande accolte per protezione internazionale o umanitaria.

Once again immigrants have been decisive in terms of demographic growth in Italy. At the beginning of 2010 the population stood at 60 million 387 thousand, with an increase of 5.7 per thousand. The balance in terms of migration involving foreign citizens alone was more than 405 thousand. This is the data emerging from ISTAT's estimates on the basis of the main demographic indicators for 2009. Once again a large number of foreign immigrants entered Italy from abroad in 2009, whereas there was a fall in the number of permits granted for international protection or humanitarian reasons.

Les immigrés sont encore une fois déterminants pour la croissance démographique en Italie. La population de notre pays a atteint au début de 2010 les 60 millions et 387 mille habitants, avec un taux d’augmentation de 5,7‰. Le solde migratoire concernant uniquement les citoyens étrangers s’élève à plus de 405 mille personnes. Ce sont les données anticipées par l'Istat (Institut central des Statistiques) des principaux indicateurs démographiques relatifs à 2009. Les étrangers entrés sur le territoire italien étaient déjà nombreux l’an dernier. Une baisse des demandes pour protection internationale ou humanitaire a par contre été enregistrée en 2009. 19/02/2010

I giovani e il razzismo Quasi la metà dei giovani italiani sono apertamente razzisti e xenofobi e solo il 40% si dichiara “aperto” alle novità e alle nuove nazionalità che vivono in Italia. E’ quanto emerge da una ricerca realizzata dall’istituto Swg per la Conferenza dei presidenti delle Assemblee legislative delle Regioni e delle Province autonome. L’universo giovanile italiano - rileva il rapporto - si spacca in due aree: da un lato il fronte più aperto, che include quasi il 40% degli intervistati. Sul versante opposto c’è l’area di quelli più chiusi, dove si trova collocato il 45% dei giovani italiani. In mezzo si trova un gruppo a metà strada fra chiusura e apertura totale, rappresentato dal 14,5% dei giovani.

Almost half of all young Italians are openly racist and xenophobic and only 40% declare themselves to be "open" to change and the new nationalities living in Italy. This is what emerged in a study realised by the SWG institute for the Conference of Presidents of Legislative Assemblies in the Regions and Autonomous Provinces. Young Italians – the report reveals - can be divided into two main groups: on the one hand there is a more open-minded group, which includes almost 40% of those interviewed, whereas on the other there is a more hostile front, containing around 45% of young Italians. In the middle there is a faction standing halfway between total openness and hostility, represented by 14.5% of young people.

Presque la moitié des jeunes italiens sont ouvertement racistes et xénophobes et seulement 40% déclare d’être « ouvert » aux nouveautés et aux nouvelles nationalités présentes en Italie. C’est ce qui ressort d’une enquête faite par l’institut Swg pour la Conférence des présidents des Assemblées législatives des Régions et des Provinces autonomes. La jeunesse italienne – précise le rapport - se divise en deux : d’un côté, ceux plus ouverts avec presque 40% des interviewés et, de l’autre, ceux à la mentalité plus fermée avec 45% des jeunes italiens. Un groupe intermédiaire, à mi-chemin entre la fermeture et l’ouverture totale, est représenté par 14,5% des jeunes. 22/02/2010

“Primavera antirazzista” Si chiama “Primavera antirazzista” la campagna nazionale promossa dall’1 al 21 marzo da un coordinamento costituito da diverse organizzazioni e comitati tra i quali Acli, Arci, Cgil e Uil e aperto a tutte le realtà interessate. La campagna prevede iniziative di sensibilizzazione che interesseranno tra l'altro il mondo del lavoro e della scuola e che saranno promosse autonomamente dai singoli soggetti aderenti al coordinamento. Lo scopo è difendere e promuovere i diritti dei migranti. Il primo marzo i promotori propongono innanzitutto una giornata di astensione dai consumi. Momento clou sarà il 21 marzo, Giornata internazionale contro il razzismo promossa dall’Onu.

The national campaign scheduled for the period 1 to 21 March and promoted by a coordinating committee made up of various organisations and committees including ACLI, ARCI, CGIL and UIL, but open to all those interested, is called "Anti-racism in Spring”. The campaign provides for initiatives raising awareness in schools and at the workplace, among other places, with initiatives that will be promoted autonomously by the individual organisations involved. The scope is to defend and promote migrants' rights. On 1 March the promoters will propose first of all a day of abstention from consumption. The key moment will be 21 March, with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, promoted by the UN.

La campagne nationale, lancée par une coordination de plusieurs organismes et comités (dont Acli, Arci, Cgil et Uil) et ouverte à tous ceux qui sont intéressés, s’appelle « Printemps anti-raciste » et aura lieu du 1er au 21 mars. Cette campagne prévoit des initiatives de sensibilisation qui toucheront entre autre le monde du travail et de l’école et qui seront promues de façon autonome par les différents sujets adhérant à la coordination. Elle a pour objectif de défendre et de promouvoir les droits des migrants. Les promoteurs proposent pour commencer une journée d’abstention des consommations le 1er mars. Le moment clou sera le 21 mars, la Journée internationale contre le racisme promue par l’Onu. 18/02/2010

Il mondo in scena, iscrizioni aperte Un laboratorio teatrale a Trento come strumento innovativo di inclusione sociale per i giovani immigrati di seconda generazione ma aperto anche a ragazzi italiani. Il progetto è ideato, promosso e realizzato dal Cinformi della Provincia autonoma di Trento. La parte formativa sarà curata dalla cooperativa sociale Progetto 92. L’iniziativa intende rappresentare un vero e proprio laboratorio identitario e un’occasione di incontro e confronto tra giovani di diversa provenienza culturale. I partecipanti devono essere figli di immigrati, nati in Italia o arrivati in giovane età; avere preferibilmente un’età compresa tra i 15 e i 20 anni ed essere residenti o domiciliati in Trentino. The Autonomous Province of Trento's Cinformi office has conceived, promoted and realised a project involving a theatre workshop in Trento as an innovative method of social inclusion for young second generation immigrants, but also open to young Italians. The educational aspect will be dealt with by the social cooperative Progetto 92. The initiative is intended to act as a workshop on identity and an opportunity for young people from different cultures to meet and exchange ideas. The participants must be the children of immigrants and have been born in Italy or arrived as children; they should preferably be aged between 15 and 20 and be resident or domiciled in Trentino. Un laboratoire théâtral à Trente devient un instrument innovateur d’intégration sociale pour les jeunes immigrés de la deuxième génération, tout en étant ouvert aux jeunes italiens. Il s’agit d’un projet lancé, promu et réalisé par Cinformi de la Province autonome de Trente. La partie liée à la formation sera suivie par la coopérative sociale Progetto 92. Cette initiative a le but d’être un véritable laboratoire identitaire et une occasion de rencontre et de confrontation entre les jeunes de cultures différentes. Il faut, pour y participer, être enfant d’immigrés (né en Italie ou arrivé ici en bas âge), avoir de préférence entre 15 et 20 ans et être résident ou domicilié dans le Trentin.
