IMMIGRATI, STIPENDI PIÙ BASSI A parità di formazione e di profilo professionale, i lavoratori immigrati guadagnano generalmente meno dei colleghi italiani. Il dato emerge da uno studio della Fondazione Leone Moressa relativo al secondo trimestre 2009. Mentre un lavoratore italiano ha mediamente uno stipendio di circa 1.250 euro netti al mese, un immigrato arriva circa a 960 euro, quasi il 23% in meno. L’analisi territoriale mostra che le maggiori differenze si evidenziano nelle aree centro-meridionali del Paese, mentre nelle aree settentrionali la differenza si fa meno marcata. I dipendenti stranieri percepiscono una retribuzione maggiore solo se lavorano nel settore dei trasporti e nella comunicazione.

Immigrant workers generally earn less than their Italian colleagues with the same training background and vocational profile. This is the data emerging in a study by the Leone Moressa foundation regarding the second quarter of 2009. While an Italian worker has on average a net monthly income of 1,250 euro a month, an immigrant earns around 960 euro, almost 23% less. Analysis by geographical area shows greater differences in central and southern Italy, whereas in the north the variation is less marked. Foreign employees only obtain higher pay if they work in the transport and communication sectors.

À parité de formation et de profil professionnel, les travailleurs immigrés gagnent généralement moins que leurs collègues italiens. Cette donnée émerge d’un étude de la Fondation Leone Moressa et se réfère au deuxième trimestre 2009. Un travailleur italien a en moyenne un salaire d’environs 1.250 euros nets par mois tandis qu’un travailleur immigré arrive à 960 euros, presque le 23% en moins. L’analyse territoriale montre que les différences majeures se vérifient dans les régions du centre e du sud du pays, tandis que dans le nord la différence est moins marquée. Les employés étrangers perçoivent un salaire majeur seulement s’ils travaillent dans le secteur des transports et de la communication. 12/11/2009

“MANDA SOLDI A CASA” E’ nato il sito www.mandasoldiacasa.it, con tutte le informazioni su come mandare denaro nel Paese d'origine. Il sito, destinato in particolare agli immigrati che vivono e lavorano in Italia e alle loro famiglie in patria, è stato realizzato con la collaborazione del ministero degli Affari esteri. Scopo dell’iniziativa è garantire chiarezza e completezza delle informazioni sulle rimesse: costi, tempi, operatori impegnati in questo settore, iniziative a favore dei migranti e consigli su come gestire e risparmiare il denaro. Riguardo i costi di invio delle rimesse, il ministero degli Affari esteri sta studiando una “road map” per stabilirne tempi e modalità di riduzione nell’arco dei prossimi cinque anni.

The site www.mandasoldiacasa.it has gone online, with information on how to send money back to the country of origin. The site, designed particularly for immigrants who live and work in Italy and their families at home, has been realised with the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The scope of the initiative is to guarantee the clarity and completeness of information about sending money home: costs, timescale, operators involved, initiatives on behalf of migrants and advice on how to manage and save money. As regards the cost of sending money abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is developing a “road map” in order to establish a timescale and find ways of reducing costs in the next five years.

Le site www.mandasoldiacasa.it qui fournit toutes les informations nécessaires pour envoyer argent dans le pays d’origine, est né. Le site, destiné en particulier aux immigrés qui vivent et travaillent en Italie et à leurs familles restées au pays, a été réalisé avec la collaboration du Ministère des Affaires étrangères. Le but de cette initiative est de garantir des informations plus claires et plus exhaustives concernant l’envois d’argent: frais, temps, operateurs engagés dans ce secteur, initiatives à faveur des migrants et conseils pour gérer et économiser l’argent. Concernant les frais d’expédition d’argent, le Ministère des Affaires étrangères est en train d’étudier une « road map » pour établir temps et modalités de leur réduction dans un délai des cinque ans. 16/11/2009

SICUREZZA, UN BENE DI TUTTI Una lettera sul tema della sicurezza è stata consegnata al Cinformi da numerose associazioni di cittadini immigrati che vivono in Trentino. Lo spunto è il recente episodio di cronaca avvenuto a Trento, dove uno studente è stato aggredito da un gruppo di giovani stranieri. Le associazioni sottolineano come la questione sicurezza sia una problematica che riguarda l’intera comunità. Una comunità – scrivono gli immigrati – intesa come incontro fra trentini e nuovi trentini. Di qui il richiamo delle associazioni a non fare generalizzazioni e a non cadere nel pregiudizio. Secondo i cittadini stranieri serve invece uno sforzo comune per un bene comune, quello appunto della sicurezza.

A letter on the subject of security has been handed over to Cinformi by a number of associations representing immigrants living in Trentino, following a recent incident taking place in Trento, when a student was attacked by a group of young foreigners. The associations underline that security is a problem that concerns the whole community, a community – the immigrants write – which should be understood as the coming together of the Trentino people and new Trentino residents. Hence the appeal of the associations to avoid generalisation and prejudice. According to foreign citizens, what is needed is instead a common effort for the common good, namely security.

Une lettre dont le sujet est la sécurité a été envoyée au Cinformi par des nombreuses associations de citoyens immigrés qui vivent en Trentino. L’occasion est le récent épisode de chronique arrivé à Trento : un étudiant a été agressé par un groupe de jeunes étrangers. Les associations soulignent que la question sécurité est une problématique qui concerne la communauté entière. Une communauté – précisent les immigrés - visant à la rencontre entre « trentini » et « nouveaux trentini ». C’est de cela que part l’appel des associations à ne pas faire des généralisations et à ne pas tomber dans les préjugés. Selon les citoyens étrangers il est nécessaire de faire un effort commun pour un bien commun, celui de la sécurité. 11/11/2009

I ROMENI AL VOTO Il 22 novembre la sede del Consolato Onorario di Romania in via Romano Guardini 15 a Trento diventerà sede del seggio elettorale per i cittadini romeni del Trentino-Alto Adige, chiamati a votare per il nuovo presidente della Romania. Inoltre, nello stesso giorno i romeni potranno votare per decidere con referendum su due quesiti relativi al funzionamento del Parlamento di Bucarest: la riduzione del numero dei parlamentari a 300 e l’eventuale passaggio a un Parlamento unicamerale. Possono votare tutti i cittadini romeni in possesso di un documento di identità romeno in corso di validità, anche se non residenti in Italia. Potranno votare quindi anche i turisti ed i cittadini con solo il domicilio in Italia.

On 22 November the offices of the honorary Romanian Consulate in Via Romano Guardini 15 in Trento will become a polling station for Romanian citizens in Trentino-Alto Adige, called on to vote for the new President of Romania. Furthermore, on the same day Romanians will be able to vote in the referendum to decide two questions regarding the Parliament in Bucharest: reducing the number of Members of Parliament to 300 and the possible move to a unicameral Parliament. All Romanian citizens with a valid Romanian identity document are entitled to vote, even if they are not resident in Italy. Tourists and citizens who are only temporarily domiciled in Italy will thus also be able to vote.

Le 22 novembre le siège du Consulat Honoraire de Roumanie, en via Romano Guardini 15 à Trento, sera le siège du bureau de vote pour les citoyens roumains du Trentino-Alto Adige appelés à voter pour le nouveau président de la Roumanie. En plus, le même jour, les roumains pourront voter pour décider par referendum de deux questions qui concernent le fonctionnement du Parlement de Bucarest : la réduction du nombre des parlementaires à 300 et l’éventuel passage à un Parlement unicamérale. Tous les citoyens roumains qui possèdent un document d’identité roumains en cours de validité pourront voter, même s’ils ne résident pas en Italie. Donc les touristes et les citoyens roumains seulement domiciliés en Italie pourront aussi voter. 17/11/2009
