VIAGGIO NELLO SPAZIO SCHENGEN Il visto nazionale di lunga durata in corso di validità consente a tutti i cittadini stranieri non comunitari, regolarmente soggiornanti in un Paese dell’area Schengen, di entrare e soggiornare per periodi massimi di 90 giorni a semestre in tutti gli altri Paesi dell’Area, anche se sono in attesa del rilascio o del rinnovo del permesso di soggiorno. Lo prevede il nuovo regolamento dell’Unione europea entrato in vigore il 5 aprile scorso. Le nuove disposizioni riguardano i ventisei Paesi che applicano integralmente l’Accordo di Schengen. Restano esclusi Regno Unito, Irlanda e Danimarca.

A valid long-term national visa allows foreign citizens from outside the European Community, legally resident in countries in the Schengen area, to enter and stay in other countries in the area for a maximum of 90 days in a 6 month period, even if they are awaiting the issuing or renewal of a residence permit. These are the provisions of new European Union regulations which came into effect on 5 April 2010. The new measures concern the twenty-six countries which apply the Schengen agreement in full. They do not apply to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Denmark.

Le visa national de longue durée en cours de validité permet à tous les étrangers non communautaires, résidant régulièrement dans un pays de la zone Schengen, d’entrer et de séjourner pendant des périodes au maximum de 90 jours par semestre dans tous les autres pays de cet espace, même s’ils attendent que leur soit délivré ou renouvelé le permis de séjour. C’est ce que prévoit le nouveau règlement de l’Union européenne entré en vigueur le 5 avril dernier. Les nouvelles dispositions concernent les vingt-six pays qui appliquent intégralement l’Accord de Schengen. Le Royaume-Uni, l’Irlande et le Danemark en sont exclus. 09/04/2010

“CLICK” CONTRO LA DISCRIMINAZIONE La discriminazione si combatte anche attraverso il web. Vittime o testimoni di episodi di discriminazione, sia di natura razziale che di altro tipo, possono segnalare il fatto con un click attraverso il servizio online offerto dal nuovo sito dell'Ufficio nazionale antidiscriminazioni razziali del Dipartimento per le Pari opportunità all’indirizzo www.unar.it. La segnalazione può essere fatta dalla homepage del sito direttamente in tutte le lingue, gratuitamente, 24 ore su 24. L'Unar monitora le discriminazioni anche su media e web, attraverso un osservatorio che raccoglie le segnalazioni su contenuti discriminatori in articoli, siti e blog su Internet e servizi radiotelevisivi.

Discrimination can also be combated through the internet. Victims or witnesses of episodes of discrimination, whether racial or of other kinds, can report the fact by using the online service offered by the new site of the Equal Opportunities Department's national office against racial discrimination at the address www.unar.it. The incident can be reported from the homepage of the site directly in all languages, free of charge, 24 hours a day. UNAR also monitors discrimination in the media and on the web, through a monitoring unit collecting reports of discriminatory content in articles, sites and blogs on the Internet and in radio and television programmes.

Le Web permet également de combattre la discrimination. Les victimes ou les témoins d’épisodes de discrimination, raciale ou d’un autre genre, peuvent le signaler grâce au service en ligne offert par le nouveau site du Bureau de lutte contre la discrimination raciale du Département pour l’égalité des chances à l’adresse www.unar.it. Les faits peuvent être signalés directement à la page d’accueil du site dans toutes les langues, gratuitement et 24h sur 24. L'Unar contrôle par ailleurs les discriminations sur les médias et sur le Web à l’aide d’un observatoire qui recueille les signalisations sur les contenus discriminatoires dans les articles, les sites ou les blogs sur Internet et les reportages radiotélévisés. 12/04/2010

ASTALLI, UTENZA IN AUMENTO Una fotografia delle condizioni dei richiedenti asilo e rifugiati che durante il 2009 si sono rivolti alla sede italiana del Servizio dei Gesuiti per i Rifugiati. Il quadro è offerto dal Rapporto annuale 2010 del Centro Astalli. Nonostante la flessione del numero delle domande d’asilo presentate in Italia, i migranti che si rivolgono al Centro Astalli continuano ad aumentare. Oltre 19mila persone hanno frequentato la mensa e il numero delle richieste di assistenza nella ricerca del lavoro e dell’alloggio è cresciuto del 60% rispetto all’anno precedente. Secondo Astalli la crisi economica ha colpito in modo particolare i più vulnerabili: anche rifugiati che da tempo avevano intrapreso un percorso di autonomia sono dovuti rientrare nel circuito dell’assistenza.

A picture of the situation of asylum seekers and refugees contacting the Italian offices of the Jesuit Refugee Service in 2009 is offered by the 2010 annual report on the Astalli Centre. Despite the drop in applications for asylum in Italy, the number of immigrants contacting the Astalli Centre has continued to increase. More than 19 thousand people have made use of the cafeteria and the number of requests for assistance in looking for work and accommodation has increased by 60% as compared to the previous year. According to Astalli the economic crisis has hit the most vulnerable particularly hard: even refugees who had started to become independent have been obliged to return to the support circuit.

Le rapport annuel 2010 du Centre Astalli offre un aperçu des conditions des demandeurs d’asile et des réfugiés qui se sont adressés au siège italien du Service des Jésuites pour les Réfugiés au cours de l’année 2009. Malgré la baisse du nombre de demandes d’asile présentées en Italie, les immigrés qui font appel au Centre Astalli continuent d’augmenter. Plus de 19 mille personnes ont fréquenté la cantine et le nombre de demandes d’assistance pour la recherche d’un emploi et d’un logement s’est accru de 60% par rapport à l’année précédente. Selon Astalli, la crise économique a frappé en particulier les plus vulnérables : les réfugiés qui avaient depuis longtemps entrepris un parcours d’autonomie ont eux aussi dû rentrer dans le circuit d’assistance. 10/04/2010

“ANIMADANTE” A TRENTO Dare una nuova anima e nuova vita al parco di Piazza Dante a Trento rendendolo più bello e vivibile. Sono alcuni degli obiettivi della manifestazione “AnimaDante”, che si svolge fino alla fine di ottobre 2010. Il progetto è promosso dal Comune di Trento in collaborazione con il Centro informativo per l’immigrazione della Provincia, Consolida, Fondazione Comunità solidale e Rissc, Centro di ricerca per la valutazione del progetto. Il Cinformi gestisce la prima settimana completa di ogni mese del periodo in cui si svolge la manifestazione. Dal lunedì al venerdì viene allestito uno sportello informativo rivolto agli immigrati e agli italiani. Il sabato si svolge invece la giornata delle associazioni in cui si possono conoscere culture dal mondo attraverso stand informativi e spettacoli proposti dalle associazioni.

The objectives of the “AnimaDante” initiative, to be held up to the end of October 2010, include giving new life and soul to the park in Piazza Dante, Trento, making it more attractive and pleasant to use. The project has been promoted by the Municipality of Trento in collaboration with the province's immigration information centre, Consolida, the Fondazione Comunità Solidale and RISSC, a research centre responsible for evaluating the project. Cinformi will manage the first full week of each month for the duration of the initiative. From Monday to Friday an information desk will be set up for both immigrants and Italians. Saturday will instead be set aside for associations, offering an opportunity to get to know different cultures around the world, through information stands and performances offered by the associations.

Donner une nouvelle âme et une nouvelle vie au parc de Piazza Dante à Trente, en le rendant plus beau et vivable, est un des objectifs de la manifestation « AnimaDante » programmée jusqu’à la fin du mois d’octobre 2010. Le projet est promu par la Mairie de Trente, en collaboration avec le Centre d’information pour l’immigration de la Province, Consolida, la Fondation Communauté solidaire et Rissc, le Centre de recherche pour l’évaluation du projet. Cinformi gère la première semaine complète de chaque mois de la période durant laquelle se tient la manifestation. Un guichet d’information destiné aux immigrés et aux Italiens est aménagé du lundi au vendredi. La journée des associations qui permet de connaître les cultures du monde entier grâce à des stands d’information et des spectacles proposés par les associations a au contraire lieu le samedi. 06/04/2010
