UNHCR's call for refugees' work integration
“Welcome. Working for refugee integration”
The deadline is November 30, 2023 for the call for proposals "Welcome. Working for refugee integration," a project by which UNHCR, the U.N. refugee agency, awards with a logo companies that have distinguished themselves by facilitating the integration of refugees into the labour market and the entities that have supported them.
"'Taking part in Welcome,' says the agency, 'means becoming part of a large network aimed to create a society that is more inclusive and responsive to the needs of those who have been forced to leave their countries due to war and persecution, enhancing their skills and talents."
Two awards are included in the call for proposals:
- the Welcome logo. Working for refugee integration 2023 is for companies that have employed asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international or temporary protection or facilitated their job placement through internship and training programs;
- the We Welcome 2023 logo is intended for all entities engaged in various capacities in the labour market that have facilitated the submission of at least one application for the Welcome award. Working for refugee integration by a company selected to receive the award in the present edition.
