Italy-Slovenia border controls re-established
Temporary suspension of Schengen
The Ministry of the Interior has announced the temporary
suspension of Schengen and the reinstatement of controls at the Italy-Slovenia border. The situation in the Schengen area was discussed in Luxembourg (18/10/2023) at a meeting of the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council (JHA) attended by the Minister of the Interior.
