RAM film festival 2024, “Sguardi sulle migrazioni”
The Fondazione Museo Civico has been organizing a film festival since 1990, since 2021 called RAM - Rovereto Archeologia Memorie, dedicated to archaeology and tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The formula of the Rovereto Festival includes screenings, meetings, exhibitions, training courses, guided tours to discover the territory and much more, in a contamination between knowledge, emotion and information.
The 2024 focus titled “Sguardi sulle migrazioni” (“Glimpses on Migrations”), on the bill in Rovereto October 2-5, 2024, is a spotlight on the small and large migrations of the past driven by economies, wars, climatic and environmental changes, with a specific lens on the moving peoples who have changed, influenced or blended cultures, traditions, architectures, and artistic expressions.
Also for 2024, the festival wants to explore themes that link cultural heritage to the most current emergencies, such as migration, by analyzing the flows of the past, but also proposing insights into the influences, problems and opportunities related to the migrations of the present, offering points of view - the “Sguardi sulle migrazioni” in fact - with interesting perspectives and reflections both for the public and for stakeholders, whether researchers, policymakers or managers of the common good.
