These are the new minimum contributions
National Health Service Voluntary enrollment
New minimum contributions for voluntary enrollment in the National Health Service have recently been defined (Law No. 213 of 12/30/2023).
Minimum contribution: € 2,000.00 annually for all categories, except for students and foreigners placed as au pairs;
Minimum student contribution: € 700.00 annually (it should be noted that the new minimum contribution required for the student does not apply to the enrollment of dependent family members. In case of family members, the minimum contribution increases to € 2,000);
Minimum contribution for foreigners placed as au pairs: € 1,200.00 annually.
The contribution calculation percentages have not been changed.
Payment of the amounts due in favor of the Regions from which the interested parties apply for enrollment in the SSN must be made using the F24 form only. N.B. The necessary guidelines for payment are not yet available.
IN TRENTINO, in order to avoid interruptions in welfare coverage, the Province allows temporary voluntary enrollment in the Provincial Health Service (first enrollment or renewal) for a period of three months - until 03/31/2024 - for those who have already made payment by a postal bulletin with the former amounts. Until further guidance, payment by postal bulletin but with the new rates is still accepted, subject to the deadline of 03/31/2024.
In the meantime, provincial offices will clarify the modalities for the subsequent extension of health care, and it is therefore recommended to provide an email address at the time of enrollment/renewal for subsequent communications.

Payments made before 04.01.2024 - Previous amounts will be accepted
Payments made after 04.01.2024 - New amounts must be paid
