"The Return of the State: Enterprises, Communities, Institutions"; Trento, from 3 to 6 JuneFestival Economia 2021, today at the start
Today, June 3, 2021 the sixteenth edition of the Trento Festival of Economics kicks off, the second at the time of the pandemic. The Coronavirus has radically changed the economic, social, political and cultural context in which each of us lives. In this new context, the State has regained a primary role in the lives of individual citizens.
This year, five Nobel Prize winners for Economics will discuss the issues raised by the pandemic: Michael Kremer, Paul Milgrom, Joseph E. Stiglitz, Michael Spence and Jean Tirole.
In the rich program, an event will touch, in part, the theme of immigration. The appointment, on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 7 pm, is entitled "Affirmative actions for racial and gender diversity "; speaker David Card with an introduction by Tito Boeri.
All events will be visible in streaming from the website of the Festival, but can also be followed in presence by booking a seat through the website of the Festival.
