Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival in Trento
On the occasion of the beginning of the Year of the Wooden Serpent, the Martino Martini Study Center, in collaboration with the Trentino Chinese Association, is organizing the Lantern Festival that marks the end of the Chinese New Year. The event is scheduled for Friday, February 14, beginning at 3:30 p.m., at the Fondazione Caritro Hall located at 1 Via Calepina in Trento. It will be an opportunity to learn more about different aspects of Chinese culture and traditions through legends, stories, music, the “Dragon Dance,” writing, carving and origami workshops, and Chinese food and drink tasting.
