22nd edition: Looking beyond prejudice
From March 14 to 22, 2026, the Week of Action Against Racism will take place. Now in its 22nd edition, the event is organized by UNAR (the National Office Against Racial Discrimination) to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on March 21.
The slogan chosen for this edition, “Let’s Look Beyond Prejudice,” calls for overcoming stereotypes and oversimplified views, promoting a more conscious and open perspective toward people and their stories. This message underscores the importance of recognizing the complexity of individual experiences and fostering a culture based on equal treatment, mutual respect, and the celebration of differences.
Once again this year, the Week features a wide-ranging program of initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of the issues of racism, intolerance, and xenophobia. The activities specifically target young people and take place across various sectors, including education, sports, art, and culture.
