Government funding will cover the cost of attending courses throughout Italy; applications must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering scholarships to foreign students and Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the aim of promoting cooperation in the cultural, scientific, and technological fields, projecting Italy’s economic system onto the global stage, and spreading knowledge of the Italian language and culture.

The scholarship covers only the attendance of courses in Italy. The call for applications and the list of eligible countries/other territories are available on this page . Applicants may submit their applications exclusively through the Study in Italy Portal . Online applications must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. (Italian time) on March 26, 2026.
