RELIGIONI STRUMENTO DI PACE Le religioni possono assumere un ruolo fondamentale nelle relazioni internazionali e nel processo di costruzione di pace fra i popoli. E' questo il messaggio lanciato nel seminario promosso nei giorni scorsi in Trentino dal ministero degli Esteri, dall'Ispi e dalla Provincia autonoma di Trento nel contesto dell'iniziativa Onu “Alliance of Civilizations”. In passato – è stato detto – il ruolo delle religioni nelle relazioni internazionali è stato fortemente sottostimato. Le religioni possono invece dare un forte contributo ai processi di pacificazione, ma solo a certe condizioni, ovvero se non vengono usate come armi per la difesa di identità chiuse.

Religions can have a fundamental role in international relations and the process of constructing peace between peoples. This was the message launched in the seminar promoted in the last few days in Trentino by the Foreign Ministry, ISPI and the Autonomous Province of Trento, within the context of the UN “Alliance of Civilizations” initiative. In the past – it was said – the role of religions in international relations has been seriously underestimated. Religions can instead make an important contribution to peace processes, but only on certain conditions, namely that they are not used as weapons to defend closed identities.

Les religions peuvent avoir un rôle fondamental dans les relations internationales et dans le procès de construction de la paix entre les peuples. C’est le message qui a été lancé au cours du séminaire promu ces jours-çi en Trentino par le Ministère des Affaires étrangers, par l’ Ispi e par le département autonome de Trento dans le contexte de l’initiative Onu « Alliance des Civilisations ». Il a été souligné que dans le passé le rôle des religions dans les relations internationales a été fortement sous-estimé. Les religions peuvent au contraire donner une grande contribution au procès de pacification, mais seulement à certaines conditions, c’est à dire si elles ne sont pas utilisées comme armes pour la défense d’identités enfermés. 28/10/2009

MINORI STRANIERI SVANTAGGIATI Molti bambini e adolescenti immigrati, in otto fra i paesi più industrializzati del mondo, si trovano in situazioni di svantaggio rispetto ai coetanei autoctoni. Lo afferma un recente rapporto realizzato dall'Unicef. I paesi al centro dello studio sono Australia, Francia, Germania, Italia, Paesi Bassi, Svizzera, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti. Secondo il rapporto, il benessere di bambini e adolescenti immigrati è compromesso in molti settori, tra i quali la salute, l'istruzione, la sicurezza economica e abitativa e le opportunità lavorative. In Italia il numero di bambini che vivono in famiglie di immigrati è cresciuto rapidamente, raddoppiando negli ultimi cinque anni.

Many immigrant children and adolescents in eight of the most industrialised countries in the world are at a disadvantage as compared to their peers of local origin. This was the conclusion of a recent report produced by UNICEF. The countries in the study were Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the USA. According to the report, the wellbeing of immigrant children and adolescents is compromised in many sectors, including health, education, financial security, housing and employment opportunities. In Italy the number of children living in immigrant families has increased rapidly, having doubled in the last five years.

Beaucoup d’enfants et adolescents immigrés, dans huit pays parmi les plus industrialisés du monde, se trouvent en situation de désavantage vis-à-vis des personnes autochtones du même âge. C’est ce qui a été affirmé dans un rapport récent de l’Unicef. Les pays au centre de cet étude sont l’Australie, la France, l’Allemagne, l’Italie, les Pays Bas, la Suisse, le Royaume-Uni e les Etats-Unis. Selon ce rapport, le bien-être des enfants et des adolescents immigrés est compromis dans beaucoup de secteurs comme la santé, l’instruction, la sécurité économique et de logement et les opportunités de travail. En Italie le nombre d’enfants qui vivent dans des familles d’immigrés a augmenté rapidement, redoublant au cours des derniers 5 ans. 26/10/2009

NUOVI CONSOLATI Due nuovi uffici consolari sono stati aperti recentemente in Italia. Dallo scorso mese di settembre i cittadini originari del Marocco possono avvalersi dei servizi del Consolato generale di Verona, situato in via Torricelli 49. L’ufficio può essere contattato anche telefonando al numero 045.8620858. Anche i cittadini romeni residenti in Italia hanno un nuovo ufficio consolare: si trova a Trieste, in via Udine 11, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria. L'apertura al pubblico è il lunedì, martedì e giovedì dalle ore 11.00 alle ore 14.00. Il Consolato generale di Trieste è competente per il Friuli-Venezia Giulia e per il Veneto.

Two new consular offices have recently been opened in Italy. Since last September citizens of Moroccan origin can make use of the services of the Consulate-General in Verona, situated in Via Torricelli 49. The office can also be contacted by telephoning the number 045 8620858. Romanians resident in Italy also have a new consular office: it is situated in Trieste, in Via Udine 11, close to the railway station. It is open to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.00 to 14.00. The Consulate-General in Trieste is responsible for the Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto regions.

Deux nouveaux bureaux consulaires ont été ouverts récemment en Italie. Depuis le mois de septembre les citoyens originaires du Maroc peuvent se servir des services du Consulat général de Verona, qui se trouve en via Torricelli 49. Le bureau peut être également contacté en téléphonant au numéro 045.8620858. Les citoyens roumains ont aussi un nouveau bureau consulaire : il se trouve à Trieste, en via Udine 11, près de la gare ferroviaire. Il est ouvert lundi, mardi et jeudi de 11h au 14h. Le Consulat général de Trieste est compétant pour le Friuli-Venezia Giulia et pour le Veneto. 26/10/2009

IL TRENTINO DEL FUTURO In totale assenza del movimento migratorio la popolazione trentina, in rapido invecchiamento, sarebbe destinata a ridursi, arrivando nel 2030 a meno di 490mila abitanti con circa il 30% di anziani. Il dato arriva da uno studio del Servizio statistica della Provincia autonoma di Trento che prevede l'evoluzione della popolazione residente. Popolazione che, secondo la ricerca, continuerà a crescere, fino a raggiungere nel 2030 le 620mila unità, grazie però alla componente immigrata. Secondo le previsioni, tra una decina d'anni i residenti in Trentino con cittadinanza straniera saranno 65mila.

Without any immigration, the rapidly aging Trentino population would be destined to decline, arriving at a figure of less than 490 thousand inhabitants by 2030 and with around 30% represented by senior citizens. This is the data coming from a study by the Statistics Department of the Autonomous Province of Trento, which predicts the evolution of the resident population. According to the study, the population will instead continue to increase, reaching a figure of 620,000 in 2030 thanks to immigration. According to the forecasts, in around ten years there will be 65 thousand Trentino residents with foreign nationality.

En absence totale du phénomène migratoire la population du Trentino, dont le vieillissement est rapide, serait destinée a diminuer , arrivant en 2030 à moins de 490.000 habitants, dont 30% environ de personnes âgées. Cette donnée provient d’une recherche du Service statistique du département autonome de Trento qui prévoit l’évolution de la population résidente. Population qui, selon la recherche, va continuer à augmenter, jusqu’à arriver en 2030 à 620.000 unités, grâce toutefois à la composante immigrée. Selon les prévisions, dans une dizaine d’années, les résidents de nationalité étrangère en Trentino seront 65.000. 21/10/2009
