PIANO CONVIVENZA PER L’AQUILA E’ stato firmato a L’Aquila il Protocollo di intesa fra Provincia autonoma di Trento, Provincia dell'Aquila e Prefettura dell’Aquila per la definizione di un Piano di interventi in materia di convivenza. Il documento è stato sottoscritto dall'assessore alla Convivenza della Provincia autonoma di Trento Lia Giovanazzi Beltrami, dalla Prefettura e dalla Presidente e dall’assessore alle Politiche sociali della Provincia dell'Aquila. Il Protocollo nasce dal lavoro congiunto svolto nelle scorse settimane dai firmatari del documento e dal ministero dell’Interno, in collaborazione con il coordinamento “Ricostruire insieme”. A draft agreement between the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Province of Aquila and police headquarters in Aquila for a plan of intervention in the field of co-existence has been signed by Trentino councillor Lia Giovanazzi Beltrami and by the president and the social policy councillor of the province of Aquila. The agreement comes out of the joint work that has been carried out by its signatories and by the ministry of the Interior over the last few weeks, with all parties working in collaboration on the “Rebuilding together” project. 23/06/2009

RICOSTRUIRE LE RELAZIONI E il Piano Convivenza per la provincia dell'Aquila individuerà i bisogni peculiari della popolazione immigrata e cercherà soluzioni volte ad alleviare il disagio attuale e a contribuire a mantenere una buona coesione sociale tra cittadini stranieri e locali. Il Cinformi della Provincia autonoma di Trento coadiuverà la Provincia dell’Aquila nella predisposizione del Piano Convivenza e nella definizione dei progetti operativi per attuarlo. Il Piano individuerà azioni riguardanti l’ascolto, il monitoraggio, l’informazione, il supporto giuridico-amministrativo, la sensibilizzazione, la valorizzazione delle differenze, la coesione sociale, la formazione e il lavoro. The province of Aquila’s co-existence plan will identify the particular needs of the immigrant population and find ways of helping them through the present difficulties and assist also in the maintenance of good relations between local and foreign residents. The Autonomous Province of Trento’s Cinformi will extend a helping in hand to the Provincial government of Aquila in the drawing up of the Co-existence plan and in the implementation of action to put it into effect. The Plan will envisage such action as listening to the people, monitoring the situation, spreading information, providing legal and bureaucratic support, spreading awareness of people’s needs, celebrating cultural diversity as well as encouraging social cohesion and helping to provide jobs and training for employment. 23/06/2009

IMMIGRAZIONE, LE PRIORITA’ UE La Commissione europea ha definito le priorità in vista dell'adozione da parte del Consiglio europeo, nel dicembre 2009, del Programma di Stoccolma. Il documento detterà, per i successivi 5 anni, le linee guida dell'azione europea in materia di cittadinanza, giustizia, sicurezza, asilo e immigrazione. La Commissione intende promuovere politiche su immigrazione e asilo basate sulla solidarietà e sulla responsabilità condivisa tra i Paesi membri, rafforzando il legame tra flussi migratori e mercato del lavoro europeo, rendendo più efficace il contrasto all'immigrazione illegale e puntando all'integrazione di chi arriva legalmente o chiede asilo in Europa. The European Commission has set forth its immigration policy priorities in the light of the European Council’s forthcoming adoption of the Stockholm programme in December of 2009. This will frame the next five year’s guidelines on citizenship, justice, security, asylum and immigration. It is the intention of the Commission to pursue immigration and asylum policies based on social solidarity and shared responsibility as between member countries, while strengthening the linkage between immigration and the European labour market and more effectively combating illegal immigration. There will also be particular emphasis on the importance of integration for those entering legally or applying for political asylum in Europe. 24/06/2009

IMMIGRATI “TESTIMONIAL” Un invito a consumare prodotti tipici trentini è arrivato dai rappresentanti delle associazioni degli immigrati in un’iniziativa organizzata presso la sede della Federazione provinciale Allevatori per far conoscere ai nuovi trentini le tradizioni agroalimentari locali. Nel corso dell’incontro, l’assessore alla Convivenza della Provincia autonoma di Trento Lia Giovanazzi Beltrami ha parlato dei risultati dell’Operazione ascolto avvenuta nei mesi scorsi sul territorio trentino e degli strumenti messi in campo per affrontare le criticità rilevate. In particolare, è stato presentato il Piano Convivenza approvato dalla Giunta provinciale ed ora esportato nella Provincia dell’Aquila. Representatives of the immigrants’ associations have been invited to try out typical Trentino foods in an initiative at the headquarters of the Provincial Federation of livestock breeders. The aim has been to better acquaint new residents with local cuisine. At the meeting Lia Giovanazzi Beltrami, councillor for co-existence in the autonomous province, spoke of the Listening project that has been on-going over the past few months, as well as the tools that have been provided for dealing with any criticisms levelled. In particular the Co-existence Plan was presented, as approved by the provincial government and as also exported to Aquila. 22/06/2009
