DECRETO FLUSSI, 127MILA CONFERME Decreto flussi 2008. Sono circa 127mila le domande di conferma della volontà di assunzione pervenute al sito del ministero dell’Interno da datori di lavoro non comunitari e in possesso di carta di soggiorno o permesso di soggiorno CE per soggiornanti di lungo periodo o carta di soggiorno rilasciata a cittadini stranieri familiari di cittadini comunitari. Il tempo per inoltrare conferma è scaduto il 3 gennaio. Sul sito del ministero dell’Interno è possibile, attraverso un modulo web, recuperare la ricevuta di conferma dell'operazione effettuata. With regard to the 2008 immigration decree, 127 thousand applications confirming the intention to take on a worker have been received at the site of the Ministry of Interior from employers outside the EC with a residence card or EC permit for long-standing residents or with a residence card issued to foreigners who are family members of EC citizens. The expiry date for sending confirmation was 3 January. At the site of the Ministry of the Interior it is possible to download a receipt confirming the operation has been carried out. 06/01/2009

FLUSSI 2008, RICORSO AL TAR E intanto la Cgil nazionale e il patronato Inca ricorrono al Tar del Lazio per ottenere l’annullamento parziale del decreto flussi. Per gli avvocati dell'Inca Cgil le norme che sono state introdotte nel decreto sono “inutilmente restrittive e appaiono perfino discriminatorie nei confronti dei datori di lavoro stranieri.” La Cgil cita in particolare il riferimento alla Carta di soggiorno e ai tempi durante i quali i datori di lavoro immigrati hanno dovuto presentare le loro domande. La prima udienza al Tar è stata fissata per il 14 gennaio prossimo. In the meantime the national CGIL and the INCA institution have appealed to the regional administrative court of Lazio to obtain partial annulment of the decree on immigration. For the lawyers of INCA and CGIL the regulations introduced in the decree are "unnecessarily restrictive and would even appear to be discriminatory for foreign employers.” The CGIL cites in particular the reference to the residence card and the schedule within which immigrant employers had to present their applications. The first hearing of the court has been established for 14 January this year. 30/12/2008

ASILO, RICHIESTE SENZA PRECEDENTI Il numero dei richiedenti asilo dal 2005 ad oggi in Italia è quasi triplicato, passando da circa 9mila a quasi 27mila domande pervenute al mese di novembre dello scorso anno. Aumentano inoltre i minori non accompagnati richiedenti asilo. I dati emergono dal Rapporto 2007-2008 sul Sistema di protezione per richiedenti asilo e rifugiati. Le persone accolte in Italia sono soprattutto di sesso maschile, di età compresa tra i 18 e i 40 anni e provenienti in gran parte dal continente africano, in particolare da Eritrea, Afghanistan, Etiopia, Costa d'Avorio e Nigeria. The number of applicants requesting asylum in Italy from 2005 to the present day has almost tripled, going from around 9 thousand to the almost 27 thousand application arriving in November last year. Furthermore the number of unaccompanied minors requesting asylum has also increased. The data emerged in the 2007-2008 report on the system of protection for asylum-seekers and refugees. Those taken in by Italy are mostly male, aged between 18 and 40 and come largely from Africa, particularly Eritrea, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, the Ivory Coast and Nigeria. 18/12/2008

Secondo l’assessore è necessario un impegno comune che contribuisca a rendere il settore dell’immigrazione una vera fonte di ricchezza. We must be even more committed and do everything possible to make immigration not only a concrete resource but also a cultural resource involving the whole of Trentino. This is a passage from the message for the holiday season and the new year from the provincial councillor for international solidarity and coexistence, Lia Giovanazzi to the staff of Cinformi and all the communities living in Trentino today. According to the Councillor a common commitment is necessary in order to make immigration into a genuine source of enrichment. 24/12/2008
